A Risk Assessment of a Bottle Filler was carried out in a company of the beverage industry, taking into account the operations carried out on the machine, as well as the handling and handling of the chemicals used in the area. They were found:
9 critical risks not evident, of urgent action, 7 medium risks, which should be considered, 4 negligible risks, which were discarded.
The Advisory marked the way and determined the necessary actions to improve security in the analyzed area, and provided solutions applicable to other areas of the company.

The safety alarms of the plant were analyzed, with the aim of verifying the integrality in the Security System, the Distributed Control System, and in all the visualization units. A total of 188 variables were analyzed, related to the alarms. More than 70 points were found to improve effective alarm management.

A Risk Assessment was carried out in Maintenance Lifts, meeting: 8 obvious critical risks, of urgent action, 2 critical risks not evident, of urgent action, 6 medium risks, which must be considered but are not urgent to mitigate, 10 Negligible risks.
The Assessment marked the way and determined the necessary actions to improve the security in the machine analyzed (and applicable to four similar machines of the company)

A boiler process was analyzed, in order to verify the integrality of the process in terms of its Safety Requirements, Functional Requirements, and the actual implementation in the program related to the safety of the process. Numerous points were found that could imply a false stop of the process (which causes great losses).

The requirements of Safety according to the norms ISO 13849-1, IEC 60204-1 and ISO 12100 were elaborated for the installation of a new machine in a production line of a beverage bottling plant.
The new operations involve access to a high risk area, qualified with a performance level of PLe.
The project requirements specify what things should be taken into account so that the solution implemented is safe and in accordance with the regulations of Machinery Safety.
